mkay, this will be long and it might have been answered already, but don't get mad I'm new

upon downloading a Kirby 64 rom I noticed it had (!) at the end, and if I can recall, pj64's help file says it supports these kind of files......so I skipped the verification process.......but when i tried to load I got a "Bad Rom-please verify" or something like that....
so i verified it and it apparently is a bad rom.......
so why does it have a (!) at the end? someone help me out here

probably it was good at some time, before you got it, or someone was just lying to you :)

there are some patches on my site that you might use to fix this.

?????????????????????????
Perhaps it was corrupted while downloading it. Try to re-get that rom. If the patches don't work, that is.
For you never know what version that really is... :plain:

Btw, smiff's site is in my sig.

you should never assume that a rom is a good dump(!) until you have scanned it with goodn64. :satisfied
