got it right here. been playing it. it rocks. graphically, it is almost Super Metroid's equal. but gameplay wise, it's excellent. the story - better than ever.

anyone tried it yet? i can't believe the power of the SA-X.

The game does seem pretty decent so far... not at all keen on Samus's colour scheme (blue and yellow just doesn't look right at all), then again I've only been playing it for a few hours. Gotta say it doesn't quite *feel* like a Metroid game though, the character movement seems a bit too quick perhaps.

you see I take that as a good thing ;) I was never a major fan of super metroid because she'd be damm slow at times, and I still hate the boss battles

Granted... but the sort of floaty feel behind the movement worked well for the planet and added to the atmosphere and I feel like its lacking a bit here. I'm gonna have to dig out Super Metroid again just to relive the superb soundtrack and the initial escape sequence.
Ah, good days those were...;)
