i can get the gui to work fine (with 98/me compat mode) but refuses to launch a rom :/
winxp+sp1/gf2 ultra 64 meg/41.03 det's.. amd xp 1600+

Same here. It loads, goes to 1%, if you hit start, it goes up 1 more %. Suspicions rising...

cooliscool check what version of oot you're trying to run. UHLe can only run version 1.0 and pal (i think it can run pal version).

also the game runs for me its just it wont go into the game itself! it just stays in the gui window but the cycles and everything else are running...

I know.. i have v1.0. Even waverace Jap wouldn't run, infact, nothing would!

/me thinks lag shouldn't keep deleting all that code. :plain2:

Its can be because of your filename: you must have a name like this :
Zelda2.z64
not :
The Legend of Zelda - Majora's Mask.z64
UltraHLE, like SupraHLe doesn't support spaces in filenames.... :(



Im on a Celeron 433MHz, 128MB SDRAM PC100
nVIDIA TNT2 Model 64 32MB
C-MEDIA CM18738 Audio card
Windows XP Professionnal + SP1

The game run corectly but sound go too fast and I hear sound clip... ???
HELP ME!

Personally I find your whats new log lacking alot of information, its almost like fluff. It would be nice if you could be more specific :cool:

- Expansion Pack support added.

I would like you to explain how you added it & no, changing the RDRAM size from 4 to 8 in the code is not an answer.

- Fixed and rewritten some routines in the core (more speed).

What Core? The Glide Core? CPU Core?

- Optimized use of DSound routines (better and faster sound in much more games).

How did you improve the ADPCM sending to directsound?

- Optimized ucode detection (more compatibility).

Alright, this Boggled my mind. how do you improve compatiblity by optimizing the ucode detection?

- Rewritten some graphics routines (graphics speed gained, principally in resolutions above 800x600).

Why? Because you thought it was obsolete code?

Really, all code is really needed... Ask yourself why it doesnt run correctly after 2 cycles...

I got to pull you leg on this because i have seen alot of bullshit flying around these forums for a long time... But who knows, maybe your real.. If not... Prepare for an assraping you will never, EVER, forget....

Why do you want to know all that, L@g is doing a great job and it probably will take lots of time to write all those explainations up and probably not a lot of people will understand..

Yer l@g, I too would be interested in reading a detailed description of what youve changed. As some of it sounds like fluff.

Though unlike some people here, your release works perfectly for me.. im running windows XP with GL2Ideal 1.6, btw..
