Im switching back from xp to 2k but I cant figure out for the life in me how to format the system drive *grumbles*

can someone lend a hand

I'm told you have the option of formatting when booting from the Win2k CD, but I've never done it that way. I just pop in a Win98 bootdisk and type "format c:" Of course, this assumes you are using and will continue to use FAT32.

just throw in your bootable 2k cd, set your bios to boot cd-rom first and follow the instructions

delete all of the partition(s) on the drive and recreate it/them from scratch.
