Ok, everyone knows I have a cr@ppy i180. I heard that evoodoo+MesaFX or WickedGL is an awesome combination for cr@ppy cards like mine. My first question is which one is better mesa or wicked. Second, right now I have glsetup installed (and it sux), do I have to uninstall that before I install one of the other gl thingers? Third, will this make Glide64 look any better? thanx.

get a real graphics card m8, running games with GL & evoodo etc on a intergrated graphics chip will be extremly slow :P also get a real os such as XP, my system is very similar 2 yours and i get as much performance as my m8s 850 PIII

MesaFX -> OpenGL 1.2/1.3 implementation (soon 1.4)
WickedGL -> OpenGL 1.1 implementation

MesaFX is an opensource implementation of OpenGL for 3Dfx, it will support more features but it must be slow than WickedGL and could have more problems.

I've tried WickedGL with RTCW on my computer (TNT2 M64 + P2 400) and get 30 fps

Quake 2 with 3dfx miniGL -> 30/40 fps

I think that with a 800 Mhz computer speed must be better
