I looked around their website and they haven't posted any status updates for a good long time. Is the project in limbo, or are they just taking their time to put out a quality release? I was really looking forward to them enabling multitexturing support...

Look at the screenshots submission forum, he has screenshots of RTCW in the next release. ;)

There is another RTCW screenshot, now in windowed mode. One of features of next version is possibility of switch from windowed mode to fullscreen only pressing alt+enter...
Next release should be in less than a month...
Other features i'm working on are integration as a windows component (control panel), more compatibility with 3Dfx OGL drivers (miniGL, 3Dfx ICD, WickedGL, MesaFx) and some enhancements at compatibility side. Multitexture support for UltraHLE/SupraHLE only, at this moment.

Hey Mcleod, you're doing an awesome job man. Keep up the good work! Do you have any news concerning Glide64? Thanx.

Neat.
edit: RTCW had Glide support?

RTCW can detect eVoodoo and then install WickedGL for Voodoo 3/5 at ./gl directory. WickedGL uses Glide3x with Voodoo 5 and
Glide2x with Voodoo 3. This can be used to add OpenGL 1.1 support to integrated/old cards

Glide64 is just "on hold" afaik. Check out the unofficial plugin.

Huh? Unofficial plugin? Do you mean 0.253, or did I miss something?

hmmm so the newer evoodoo makes older voodoo cards work with newer games also? Cuz i though it was just a wrapper for using 3dfx stuff on a different graphics card
Im confused

I think i never mentioned that eVoodoo makes older voodoos run new games...
but you can use it to run glide games in windowed mode in Rush, Banshee, 3/4/5 in windowed mode...
Voodoo 1/2 aren't supported by eVoodoo 'cos i can't detect secondary cards in direct3d
eVoodoo + WickedGL/MesaFX can solve i740, i810, i845 some problems with OpenGL
eVoodoo must be slower than native implementation of glide for Voodoo cards 'cos original glide runs commands directly to hardware and eVoodoo has 2 layers over hardware
3Dfx Glide: Glide -> 3D Hardware
eVoodoo: Glide -> Direct3D -> 3D Hardware
-> Sofware -> CPU
