Banjo Tooie crashes my system every so often. I'm wondering what might be the cause? I have to turn it off and on again manually
Im thinking that it might be WIN 98 or something as I read that u need XP or 2000.

AMD Athlon XP 1800+
256 PC 133 SDRAM
Geforce4 MX 420 64bit(30.82 drivers)
40 gig seagate 7200rpm HD
Windows 98 second Edition

I'd try 1964, or uninstall PJ then re-install it.
Window's XP/2000 is exceptionally stable. I'd suggest it to anyone except those with a very, very slow system, like 400 and below should stay with 98.

Thats the most rediculous saying Ive ever heard

Anyway WIN 98 isnt that bad I think it was because I had Nortons Anti Virus running cos it is workinf good now.

Na, more like: Moved mouse cursor *CRASH!* Opened file *CRASH!* Moved fil-- *CRASH!!!*

Windows NT can be described as: "Your mouse cursor has moved. Please reboot so changes can take effect."

...and who could forget Windows ME?

"Would you like to register your copy of Windows ME?"

*clicks no*

"Would you like to register your copy of Windows ME?"

*Clicks NO*

"Would you like to register your copy of Windows ME?"

*GOD DAMNIT STOP POPPING UP! I SAID NO ALLREADY FOR CHRISTS SAKE!*

..."Would you like to register your copy of Windows ME?"

It's supposed to be. If you had a sense of humor, you'd get it.

Windows 98 is way bad. It's very unstable. It's better than ME, but still not good. Norton has nothing to do with stability, it only helps if you don't look at things before you download them.

I have a terrific sence of humour. I think that your sence of humour could use a little work though.

I mean suckily aint a very common word for a reason.

I am now convinced that installing XP will solve this problem.

Thank you to everyone who found the time to post.

I lately in the past have been using Windows 98 and then I began
to get the infinite loop crashes after upgrading to Windows XP.

Plus, Windows XP Setup locks up crashes with a GeForce 2 MX
at "Setup is starting Windows" and this is *NO JOKE*:

I must take out my GeForce 2 MX and put in my Voodoo 3
to get though Windows XP Setup, then take out the Voodoo 3
and put back in my GeForce 2 MX *AFTER* Windows XP installation is complete.

I *NEVER* had those above major issues with Windows 98.
