today i saw a new driver set for voodoo cars(3,4,5) and i installed them.It seems to work well with directX 8.1 and dxdiag can pass now the direct3d test.Rice's plugin no longer turns on software emulation but works on direct3d as it should be(the graphics are messed 
).Anyway if anyone wants to try them can grab the file from voodoofiles
