cpl? what kind of extension is that for a file?

Exatly what the title is just got some random e-mail from someone i didn't even know, IN SPANISH and its supposedly a song: comoolvidarte.cpl

thats the attachtment, never heard of the file type b4, anyone know what it is, or if its a virus?

It will be a virus, if you have never heard of the sender - then delete it (obviously).

A CPL is a Control Panel file - however this file could just as well be an EXE...

allright cool thanks, i didn't download it, i did look at the message, but i didn't download the attachtment to my hd, so i think i'm fine

shit, thanks dude! i got three more e-mails from 3 different fuck heads with the same file, pissing me off, thanks for telling though trotter! i really appreicate it!
