Insektors problem under win xp pro

I'm using Win XP Pro with latest updates. After I have installed the hook driver after Insektors told me to. Well, I rebooted, but the status of the driver shows to be inactive still and saids that it needs reboot still. So I can't use the program at all...what's more, my DVD/CD-ROM/RW drives all disappeared! So I tried removing the hook driver and guess what?! The CD drives are back! So that puts me where I started at, no Insektors...:angry:

Did anyone also experience this problem or could help?
