as odd as this may sound, i get FASTER performance in pj64/1964 than uhle/shle, around 50fps in this game, with abut no stutters, when i use azimer's old audio plugin (r0x0r!) :)

Your problem is likely of two things:
1) You've set to point sampling glide plugin (i assume you are using it).
2) You have set "texture filtering" off in the evoodoo control panel.
Solutions:
1) Set it to automatic or bi-linear.
2) Turn it on.

Erm, then don't use evoodoo.
About ultrahle, you must first select your uhle file to make it work.
Does gl2ideal have any setting configuration?

the problem is i cant even get the program to open it gives an error b 4 it even opens the "open the ultrahle.exe" thingy and yes gl2ideal does have a config but a poor one

The Intel i810 Chipset is why the sound skips. I knew someone with one and Evoodoo wasn't a good idea.
