I have Win XP Home ed. on my HD right now, and I want to put a partition on it so that I can put like 3gig in one partition with Win 98se as the OS for that partition. That way I can dual boot my system and run any programs that are not compatible with XP. Can I do this w/out wiping my HD first? Will this work? Is it worth it to do this? If it will work then How do I do it?

Yes, it will work. But in order to do this you need a partition software more advanced than FDISK. You need one that can resize partitions without deleting them. So bassically you take 3 gigs of empty space and removing it from the existing partition by resizing the existing one to be 3gigs less (does this make sense), then partition the unpartitioned space as a secondary partition. Then install Windows 98. This will not work if your existing partition is NTFS. As for the software you need, I reccomend Partition Magic, however I'm sure some others can recommend some good software as well.
