Problems w/ smash bros-post-intro

Well the intros graphics are sorta messed up. Link's clothes are white, and when he jumps and turns into the fighter, you can see the frames tagging behind him when the background goes messed up.

Also, when I choose 1p game or training, the game freezes. Any help would be appreciated
