Help with Evangelion 64

I recently downloaded the Neon Genesis Evangelion 64 ROM, the rom starts ok and i can hear things but cant see a thing !!!!!

My sytem is :

P4 1800
128 RDRAM
40 GB HD
G-Force 2 32 MB
DirectX 8.0
Windows XP Home Edition

Just keep pressing the Go button and you will play
