i can't figure this out.
my computer worked fine for a long while, but it got frigged up about two months ago. the printer(Epson Stylus 800) stopped working, the CD-Rom went screwy, and the close program dialog box wouldn't work any more.
we sent it away to the shop. there was a virus on it (duh). we got it back with a wiped hrd drive and Win 98 SE reinstalled.
we have a diff. printer(Lexmark Optra E312), works fine(original problem never solved), CD-Burner/-Rom 2 replace what we had(i assume the problem would have went away, but we wanted a burner anyway). I also installed Norton Antivirus 2002.
The Close Program Dialog box is as follows(still here):
when i open it up it works fine, and i can exit it fine, but i can't close any programs from it. it gets stuck trying to close the program. i have to hardboot the computer.
