Im considering getting a new computer and I went to dell to look at what they have. And i found this its a $999 comp and that is pretty much what i have to spend on one. SO would this be okay for 64 emulation.

PIV 1.8 ghz
256 mb ram
40 gig hard drive
64mb Geforce 4 MX graphic card with tv-out
but it has intergrated sound

So what do you guys think would that be a good comp to use for n64 emu?

I HIGHLY recommend getting more then 256MB of RAM. It's cheap and it's great to have when you have many things open. I have 512MB and I have never run out of RAM and had my HD thrashed. Right now I am using 242MB of RAM. That is too close to 256MB and I have ICQ, MSVC 6, MSVC.NET, mIRC, Outlook Express, Command Prompt, 2 IE windows, NAV, and a few other things running. It's great to be able to run all these things and STILL be able to test a large rom in an emulator without having all my programs be swapped out. Oh... all this under Win2k
