building a new comp

What's that...?
alright, im gonna build a new comp, heres what im thinkin of puttin in it:

-amd athlon xp 2000 or 2100
-sound blaster audigy 4x gamer or platinum (what is the difference here)
-geforce 3 ti-200 (should this get the job done, right now i have a geforce 2 mx, it kinda sucks, how will performance differ)
-just a regular ole ethernet card
-512 mb ram (should i go for 1000 mb?)
- 60 or 80 gig hard-drive

what should i look for in a fan?... should something like this cut it...( i won't be overclocking just to let ya know)

Fan: 60x60x25 mm
Rated Voltage: 12V DC
Speed: 4500 10% RPM
Air Flow: 36.0CFM
Noise: 31.5dBA
Heat Sink Dimensions: 60x60x35 mm

I can tell you two things:

For the Sound Blaster, the Gamer version includes a game bundle (don't know which games though), and the Platinum includes the LiveDrive, a quasi-breakout box.

For your video card, the Ti200 isn't bad, but the lower end GF4's are faster and probably not much more in cost. Just don't get an MX.

Can I make a suggestion? Wait like a week for the new AMD Athlon XP Thoroughbreds to come out. They run a lot cooler, so the fan doesnt have to be as powerful. Oh yeah.. get a GF4Ti4200, they arent that much more expensive, and they rock a TI200.
