Hello,

I have just been made the designer/maintainer of the site for the new Playstation2 emulator know as PS2 Personal Emulator (PE) (http://ps2pe.ngemu.com).

:: My Design (http://www.ngemu.com/dixon/ps2pe/) ::

I want to know what you think of it, whats wrong with it, what should be added etc. Please note that it is still very much WIP - the logo isn't final (more than likely going to be changed). The copright, and whole bottom part of the site isn't added, but its in its essential form that I want it to be in :)

Thanks in advance ;)

Looks good, except the swirl thingy on the bottom of the left hand bar. It doesn't really fit in there. But without it the page would look too empty.

the site could use a bit more noise in general, seems pretty empty as is IMO, but im not a web designer :D

wow, ps2 emulation already....whats next? lower hardware spec gamecube or more PC alike xbox? :cool:

I agree. I may change it to something similar though, that fits in more. when i started the design, it was nothing serious, and that where i started :S

its nice and all, but the bottom right coner (where the swirl thingy is) can't peak out like that.

it looks like it's missing something.. dunno what.. and the swirl thing just hmmm.. nah.. you really should consider taking that thing out of there unless your planning on having more swirly thingies or something like that.. right now it looks like you forgot something hehe.. overall a nice simple sketch.. but you should work on the inside of the site.. to late now and i'm going to bed.. but maybe i can give you some hints in the morning.. night guys..

i agree. i have not mastered the art of 'fiddly-bits'. its something i really need to grasp. and i know the swirly thing looks out of place, but i am trying, as i post, the change it a bit. working on a 'line gradient' ... you'll see soon enough what i am on about :)

i completely disagree with just about everyone lol. the swirly bit was the most interesting bit on there, it's a very clean a business-like design, but its a bit boring, could use more colors/swirly bits imo. hope this was 'constructive' :)

tis constructive. i admited that it was empty previously. gonna have to tackle 'fiddly-bits' soon :(
