when i first install an os on my empty hd....can i install win.98 with an upgrade disc?

I don't think so. The upgrade disk was meant for upgrading from a previous os. you could always try it though.

You can, but you'll need a full version of a previous OS on hand. You'll be asked to put in a full version disk temporarily for varification.

Got Win95 sitting around?

Win 3.1 will do as well I think.
