Help with fan

I just screwed in my system fan to my tower and the system fan cord doesnt reach the part on the motherboard that you have to plug it into...What should i do?

Heres my motherboard:I circled the two parts on the motherboard that you plug the fans into.Left:heatsink fan,right:system fan

Get yourself some wire, cut in 3 parts each long enough so the length of the original cord and that combined will reach the fan plugin thingy, and make an extension.... nothing too difficult here, i am suprised most people never heard of diy.....
