I use a Mayflash 3in1 Joybox adapter, which lets me connect my Dreamcast pad to PC. It's hard to find these days, but the only good adapter of its kind out there (as a bonus, allows the excellent Saturn pads to be used too).
Unfortunately Demul is one of the programs I cannot use it with (ironic, as it's a Dreamcast emulator). The reason is they give full range for the analog triggers, going from 0-255, rather than with most analog pads which give you 127 at rest and have a range of 0-127 (or 127-255, not sure which).
Because it's at 255 at rest, some programs think it's being pushed all the time. Demul is one of them. So I cannot define anything in the controls as it automatically picks up the analog trigger as being pushed. It needs to be fixed to take current readings from Dinput as at rest reading, and only changes as input, at least for any analog controls.
