Dead or Alive 2, long loading screen

Has anyone found a workaround for getting past the long loading screen in Dead or Alive 2?
After the Naomi logo and jingle, a blue screen shows up stating the cabinet has a new jamma I/O board and then you have to wait ~28 seconds while it performs some tests.

I don't think you'll find one. That's the way the actual NAOMI system does. I have one and haven't found a way around it.

It is what it is then. I had thought maybe the game interpreted there was new hardware present every time it booted because of something that wasn't emulated.
