  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I just learned how to retexture, so im making a wario edit fir paper mario. I have 20 or so sprites down, basically all movement and jumping. Im about to do battle scenes and dying.

I dunno... It's only a recolor of Mario and not even a good one. You shouldn't base Wario on Mario, you should create him from scratch. Like this.

Ahh, alright. It was only my first attempt at even TRYING to get the new textures to work. So i wanted something simple.

Probably work on drawing it within the next week.

I remember how excited I was when I learned about hires texturing and I was also plying around a lot.
So do what you have to do ;)

Haha..its like.. i wanna show EVERYONE what i made :D :D :D.... *3 hours later* The coloring kinda sucks, his nose dosnt even match.... T_T

Yeah, back when I was young (so like 10000 years ago) I was like that too :)
You know what would be easier that creating an entirely new character? Exchanging characters: For example you take Mario's textures and replace them with Luigi's. So you could play as Luigi. Or you exchange Peach with Twink. Or Kammy. Or someone else :D

Or you could take sprites from another Mario game and bring them into this game. http://www.spriters-resource.com will help you with this ;)

Just some ideas I had... ^^

Cool man, remember it's your retexture, take it where YOU want to go. BUT It would be nice to see mario re-drawn :p Good luck with your pack! Any new screens?
