i am trying to run games with demul but i get an error saying gdrCHD is not configured i cant seem to find it...

Config --> Plugins, select gdrImage if you are booting disc images. Config --> GD-ROM and configure the plugin.

Thanks, it works fine now, but the gamepad doesnt work at all even if i set the pad to "keyboard"

Which version of Demul are you using? Is padDemul selected as the pad plugin and configured properly?
