Onboard Audio

I love ASUS motherboards, but the A7*266 series sucks. My brother has an A7A266 and it bites the big one. Nothing but constant problems. From what I've heard the A7V266, A7M266, A7N266, etc. isn't much better. I doubt you'll be able to find much better though. The only decent AMD motherboards made are in pre-built systems like Dell and Gateway. Thats why people insist Intel is better even though it more expensive and generally slower.

However I personally love my Asus P3V133 mobo.

I don't remember, but its out of date now. They have better in production.

I have an ABIT KG7-RAID. It's a great Motherboard, but it's only draw back is the limit on RAM. This isn't a problem since with DDR RAM, you need HQ RAM in order to use more then 2 sticks without problems anyway. I don't know why that is... but I read it somewhere on Tom's HW.
