View Full Version : PJ64 Eeprom Saves Database

Curious

I feel it would be a great idea to start a PJ64 Eeprom Database. I personally really need a finish DK64 Eeprom save. So I would be most happy if someone would be kind enough to give me this Eeprom for either Donkey Kong 64 (U) (!) or Donkey Kong 64 (E) (!). The USA version would be preferable.

Anyway I digress I will start the ball rolling:

However I am aware of this SRAM save. I do not know how to convert SRAM saves into something usable for PJ64 V.1.4. If anyone does I would like to hear form them.

Just renaming it may help.... Not sure.

Curious
May 16th, 2002, 15:38
Which file do I rename I think I have tried this before and it didn't work. I renamed the EEP and nothing happened.

Hey Curious, maybe when you get all the save files for all the games, put it into one big zip file, and then release it.

Why dont you make a Compilation of MemPaks? They would run on most if not all Emulators.

KahnAbyss

Sorry Kahn,

I've been offline for a while. Thank you for all your help. Also a big thanks to Mantis. I see the eeprom database is coming together.

:D

However we do need to organise it better

Maybe if everyone continues to send eeproms I could zip them all into archive?

C.

KahnAbyss
May 23rd, 2002, 22:15
maybe more by game think about poor people with a modem connection if they just want DK or BCFD stuff and have to get the whole archive of useless saves for them

Curious

We will leave it by game as you have said Kahn.

DexDrive saves (just as good as MemPaks) can be found at

http://www.gamecontrol.de/cgi-bin/downmain.pl?2

http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/n64/

for gamefaqs, only the more popular games may have saves. if anybody finds any other sites with dexdrive saves ill be interested. :)

Thanks Kahn,

For all your help with DK64 much appreciated.

As most of you know the following is a good source for eeproms. Also by making the link available it might save some space on the forum.

http://www.dextrose.com/dx_section_c2t.htm

Also I think maybe a EEprom request section might be a good idea.

What do you all think?

Why doncha goto http://www.gamefaqs.com and get yourself a walkthrough!

Maybe because it would take forever to complete the game 101%. Does anyone have a completed save file for save slot 2 or 3?
