general save problem..

hi,
i have some general problems with saving games.. i am currently using 1964 v0.73 and 0.8 depending on what game i play.. and i wanna play both zelda games.. i started zelda: oot a long while back on an emu i cant remember.. and i have a save file left i think.. >zelda.sra< but i dont know how to import this file in 1964 so i can play from then on.. also i would like to get some thoughts on general saving and how it is solved in the 1964 emu.. e.g. save files like that sra file or a memory pak.. dont know how to do it !

The easiest way is to use save-states. Press F5 to save in pj, and F7 to load. When using 1964, make sure "Advanced settings" are enabled under the options menu.
Then select import pj state to play, and export pj state again to play on pj.

Simple as that.

before u do what doom just said, u first have to:
1) get pj64 (the forgotten emu), latest (final) version is 1.4
2)make sure rom name=sra name (ie Zelda.n64 and Zelda.sra)
3)remember sra's go into the save dir of pj64
4)load Zelda on pj64

continue on with doom's instructions:
