Nemu and Win XP - or which N64 Emu works proper with XP?

Hi


I'm having troubles using a N64 Emulator after getting my new cpu.

OS: Win XP Professional
Pentium IV, 2GHZ
256 RAM
64 MB GeForce II MX


Is there a way to emulate Zelda - OOT with NEMU / XP ?
Any Settings / Ini files maybe ? It "works" at the moment, but in my eyes, its not playable - too many graphic bugs.

I always used ULTRAHLE with my old CPU, it seems that it doesn't work in XP.. ? Any Ideas here ?

And which Emulator works with XP ? :thumbsup:

have u tried windows xp compatibility mode yet?

right click the exe file that starts up the emulator...choose properties...then click on the compatibility tab...choose windows 98/me and see if everything works now

XP is not the issue - Nemu (all avail. v. of) doesn't run Zelda properly

As Smiff said, it's not a Windows XP issue, but Nemu64 doesn't run Zelda OOT properly... I got up to king zora and then i quit it.

PS. There's no Pentium IV. It's Pentium 4

Project64 runs very smooth on my system - and has no sound skips like UltraHLE.

I tried to run UltraHLE but there are too many graphic bugs and I don't want to waste too much time since P64 runs so great.

But I can't use my save states huh ? I nearly finished Zelda - OOT (Shadow Temple).

You can exchange the Normal n64 saves (not save states) between Nemu64 & PJ 64 using this converter, written by Azimer: http://apollo.emulation64.com/saveswap.zip

Or are you talking about UltraHLE saves? They cannot be used in any other EMulator (except UltraHle hacks)

yeah, thats what I was talking about: Save states of ULTRAHLE.

anyway... is there a page where I can download PJ64 saves states ?

1964 runs both zelda's fine as well
