slow motion?

There's an option under the "system" menu that says "limit framerate". this just limits it to around 60 fps. I think it'd be cool to play smash bros in slow-motion or sped up a bit. Is there a way to change the limit?

The emulator can already limit the framerate. I don't understand why a new update would be required to let us change the limit.

because its the core that manages the speed limiting,unlike with PSX Emulation where its usually the gpu plugin.
