Game runs choppy while driving in shit.

The game is Top Gear Rally 2 and it runs choppy while i get my car full of shit(eg. while driving through a puddle of mudd)and also while the shit gets washed off(eg. while driving over some water) ;when the car is fully covered of shit, the game runs smooth again. I use Jabo's D3D7 1.40 and the DirectSound audio plugin.
If you've got the car shitty without the game running choppy, plz tell me what settings you used

its shitty isn't it? Not only do i get my car shitty , the game also gets choppy:angry:
