problem starting

At my home comps, chankast works fine without any problems. when i try to play at school, the opening screen goes incredibly fast, and then i get some iocontrol error or something after "Dreamcast" shows up. any way to fix this? and the refresh rate is at 60

Why are you playing at school?

Anyway, an ioControl error is something Chankast is very notorious for. There's not much you can do about it, except perhaps change the virtual drive software or getting another CD image. having said that, other better Dreamcast emulators don't have this problem (I'm looking at you, nullDC and Makaron).
