"microphone wave in failure" Error

I can get my mic to work, but while I am playing some games, I get this error "microphone wave in failure" Then the emulator crashes. This happens with or with out the mic pluged in.
Does anyone know what causes it or how to fix it?
Also I am using NO$GBA.

how you did it to use the mic? i speak but it doesen't work, how can i do?

to have your mic working, it has to be connected before you open the emulator. and if you remove the mic while the emulator running, it crashes.

This also happens with me, even with or without the mic plugged in, with Zelda. To prevent that, I turn off the emulator sound, and only turn it on when I need to use the mic

I never had a problem with it picking up the mic
Try updating your sound card drivers that could be causing a slight issue.:sorcerer:

I did that, but I still get the error.
