Whenever I try to open ANY rom, I get a notice saying "Project64 has caused an error in <unknown>
Project64 will now close"

why does this hapen, and how can I fix it?

Plz Be More Specific, as In, What Rom you are trying to load? What Version you Using? What are your computer Specs Plz?

I am using 1.3
I have tried SSB, Perfect Dark and alot more
I don't know my specs

Heh, OK. To make this simple....
Go to Start->Run...-> Type: DXDiag

Now, You Better Hope you have DX 6 or Higher. Your Computer Specs Should Be Listed on the First tab, CPU, Clock Speed ETC. List them here & it might not hurt to metion your OS...

Hi

I'm using Jabo's Direct 3D plugins in win2k on a voodoo 3 and it works great...its the glide64 that is really messed! :P

LOL, no! Glide64 is not messed! It's WIP!
And for some reason...jabo's work fine on some voodoo's...

Holy Crap, when did Glide64 get released?!?! Thats awsome. I don't have a voodoo, but still its a great help for those who do.

only good thing about windows me is unlike xp it still plays all the old games and vgs i got win98 myself works great n64 games full speed just need a faire vid card not even best like my tnt2 1.3 ghz pent 3 tryed a celeron 900 with xp and worst onboard vid card was alittle slow with jerks in speed but i think a better card woulda got almost full speed maybe but celerons slowest .i bet with high ghz and good card even they could play p64 full speed .

Windows Me is shit, it hasnt got the compatibility of w98 and it hasnt got the stability of windows XP. It is not true that it hasnt got MS-DOS. It has the same problems of w98 and other ones. I recommend you windows XP as its very reliable, but youll need a decent machine.

I dont know ppl for me Wind.Me works very good and i dont have any problems. SO i really dont know.

if winme works for you then don't worry, it's only if it doesn't work i'd suggest you try another OS.

this thread is giving me a headache so i stopped reading
