Zelda OOT: analog stick

Hi. Some days ago, I decided to play the Zelda games again in PJ64. When I first played it I used a controller without an anlaog stick. But now I have one and started playing with analog stick. Thing is: Aiming with hookshot, bow or slingshot SUCKS. No matter how carefully i move the analog stick, the bow moves way too fast to get a decent shot at things. I know the targeting system does that for you in combat. But I want to be able to shoot my hookshot fast and precise and not having to spend 2 minutes on getting my hookshot lined up for a decent shot.

Is there any way to change the settings of this analog stick so it'll act slower? I searched the settings of PJ64 and didn't find anything. Or did I miss it?

There are the range and deadzone sliders in the input plugin. It's more likely that your stick needs to be calibrated though (point #2).

It's also possible that your stick is set to digital mode. Some pads have a button that will swap the function of the stick and d-pad.
