Today i recived my mx440 in the post and after placing the card into my motherboard and turning on the machine i got no display and a sound from the pc speaker like beep, beep beep which i know means video card error i think after trying this for a hour or so and getting the same sound i though i would try it on my mothers pc i worked first time which was a shock please can u help me here are my specs

P3 coppermine 700 sec2
256meg pc100 mem
sounblaster 128 pci

u sure that your mobo supports the right voltage for the card? I know there are two different agp voltages, but can't remember any specifics atm.

Did you replace an older PCI card with it? If so then I guess there could be a Bios problem (boot from PCI or something) doubt it though.

If the Motherboard only supports AGP 1.0 (nothing to do with AGP 1x 2x etc) then you may run into voltage problems as has been mentioned.

I OK ive sorted it!!!

It was a confiltion problem with my soundcard funny realy even the msi support didn't know Thank any guys
