Im making a new texture pack sry i havent been arround much i'v been on my forums {Link In Sig} Heres some pics of the pack.

Those textures look really rough. Smooth them out, and add some colour.

I agree, but it looks allright, the textures need more clarity.

Just because you think High-res it doesnt mean you instantly add a lot of noise to every object, increase the textures size and carefully detail it with colour.
