Has anyone found anything that these drivers do? Fix or hurt?

I've been through about 2 hours of running between pj64, 1964, and other d3d/opengl games. They seem to be slightly faster according to test. I thought they fixed a video error in 1964 for me, but not sure. Besides, wrong forum so doesn't matter here ;)
