jet force gemini patching help

i got winaps and the use crack 4 jet force gemini ,i load in the rom and load the patch bt when i hit patch it says,error loading source file what does this mean

I think that patch requires a certain byte order; you may need to byte-swap the rom. I swapped mine to be on the safe side.

[EDIT] You can swap the format from within WinAPS, and it appears it is necessary to do it before patching.

yay i byte swapped the rom and now it works.But the music and sound is jittery is there any thing i can do to fix it or is it just something u have to put up with .Also is there anything i cn do so i can use the mouse 4 manual aming and then swicth back to the pad cos manual aing is to hard with the pad

when i tried to do it i couldnt patch the file because it was .z64 instead of .v64

what does it say cos i had to set it up on my old p100 computer with win98 on and pacth it on that then put the fixed rom on a disk.Cos this computer has xp on and says something about cant install till u have latest service pack

I patched the game ok, but it hangs at the Dextrose logo...I dont even have a FPS count...could someone upload a save state of the patched game running at the main menu?
