hello every one,
i have allways had problems with sound in pj64 and i thought it was the fact that i had a celeron 600. but on the weekend i bought a celeron 2 950 and the sound is just as bad. the games it does it for is conkers bad fur day, mario kart and zelda ( 1 and 2 ). i have tryed all sound plugins and nothing helps can any one help me?
my comp is
celeron 2 950
256 megs or sd ram
asus geeforce2mx400 32meg
vibra 128 creative sound card
direct pad pro 12 buttons 3 axies game pad.
Realmagic hollywood plus decoader card with dvd ( that doesnt have any thing to do with my problem i just wanted to boast lol )

Well, your cpu might still be too slow :(
Does it do the same thing with Mario?

You said that you have tried all the sound plugins but when you have tried the Azimer audio plugin, have you checked the "send audio lists to plugin" option ?

need to start by working out what he means by "slow sound"...

yes i did but no improvment, i know it still might not be enough but there is no improvment so thats why i am asking, no sorry i dont have mario 64.

a celeron 950 could still give you slow sound, since intel INSIST theyre gonna make a chip that runs on a 66mhz fsb, therefore making connections to sound/video controllers etc, slow as hell

the celeron 2 has a fsp of 100 or so i am told. and i mean slow as in the sound its self is slow the video is at a 60 frames persecond ( it says so in the bottem corner any way ) but the sound takes awile to catch up. if any one knows of any thing please respond thanks.
