Sound Problem! Configuration attached..

Hello,
i used the Project64 Emulator a long time for my N64 games..
There was no problem with graphics or sound..

Now after a new installation of Windows XP (now with SP2) i reinstalled the
Project64 1.6 Version.. No Hardware changes were made by me!

I dont understand, why the sound stutters now?
I`ve tried all different settings in Project64, all Plugins that came
with the Software, but nothing helps..
I just wonder, because with the standard settings there were no problems before.

My systemconfig:

AMD Durom 1800 MHZ, 512 MB Ram, Nvidia Geforce 3 TI200 Graphicscard, C-media Sound (onboard) - Mainboard K7S5A Pro Rev.5

I read all the informations about soundproblems in this Board, but nothing
could help.. :(

Any idea someone? Please help me!

I`ve tried all that.. no changes..

But after another hour of testing i found the mistake ;)

Wasnt in the gamesettings, it was the directx-soundsettings in Windows XP.
I turned the Hardware Acceleration on now and it works!

Thanks for your help.

I'm quite curious about why you had Hardware Acceleration disabled in the first place.

I dont even know why the acceleration was disabled..
But the result is that the emulator is functioning now ;)
