I just checked the official site and I saw they released a new Pad plugin :)

Better late than never! ;) By numerous requests we have added support of old gamepads, which don't support Event Notification, to the PAD plugin. We hope that all PADs can now be used with our emulator. Of course, not a big change for "long-awaited" new build, but this is better than nothing. ;)
To install, just replace default padDemul with new one.

Can someone help me identify the joypad mapping?

What the hell is A, B, C, D, X, Y, Z? Which ones are the Dpad directions and which are the analog? These names are so confusing.

B = B
X = X
Y = Y
C, D, Z = not used by the Dreamcast
Up, Down, Left, Right = Digital pad directions
S1 Up, S1 Down, S1 Left, S1 Right = Stick 1. Analog Stick directions
S2 not used by the Dreamcast.
LTrig, RTrig = Kinda self-explanatory
Start = See above.

I had same problem with Sydnelson!
With the new pad plugin, I can't assign anything to the controller, nither keyboard nor joypad!
With old plugin, I had InputDevice error as Powtrix!

I use Win2K sp4!
