Read the PJ64 Manual's Glossary under 'F' for the definitions.

The in-game framerate of the PAL version of Master Quest is ~17 frames per second (exactly one third of the maximum framerate possible for a PAL game, 50 FPS), and it also runs at 50 fields per second (every PAL game running fullspeed will get 50 fields per second).

The in-game framerate of the NTSC version of Master Quest is 20 frames per second (exactly one third of the maximum framerate possible for a NTSC game, 60 FPS), and it also runs at 60 fields per second (every NTSC game running fullspeed will get 60 fields per second).

60 is only the default for NTSC games. 50 is the default for PAL games. You can't change it unless you find the NTSC version of the game.

thats actually incorrect Agozer

you can use a Rom Patch to convert the Header info to that of the NTSC rom (thats what i did, so that my Zelda64 and MQ saves could co esist)

Ok, thanks for clearing that one up. I've never had any interest towards Master Quest, so I was merely generalizing. I do vaguely remember you talking about patching the ROM some time ago, though.
