problem Zelda OOT need help?

Im stuck at the water temple. Im at part where I shoot the eye then longshot my way across. For some reason my controller wont line up on the target for the longshot to pull me across. I have a Logitech Dual action controller wondering whats the problem?

go to the controler plugin and lower the analoge stick range to like 20% or 30% and u can aim very well.
After aiming set it back to somthing over 55% so you walk normal againn.

I change it and that doesnt work its the deadzone It seems like the target is too small for my longshot to hook on it.

One could also use N-Rage modifiers set switch between low and high analog stick range. Use low when aiming and high when running around. Or the best bet is to use a controller with an analog stick. Such as a N64 controller.

OMG. I CAME HERE WITH THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT IN THE GAME.
