editing the ini file??

would someone please tell me how to edit the nemu ini file
i've seen it at many threads that u guys ask to edit the ini file so how does one do it???

DOH just double click the damn file! or if you are using DOS type "edit nemu64.ini"

You're best off sticking to one of the Official Ini's though, especially if you are not sure what you are doing.

If not Duncan has a almost complete ini for your use if you can go to his site - but i don't know it SORRY!

Emumaniac's INI is complete except for modified headers on hack'd dumps. I would know, because i filled him in on the missing 50 or so entries from his 2.3x series.

Duncan's isnt as complete, but getting there. If he finds interest in it, i'm sure he'll complete it <wink wink>

Can anybody explain me what's an INI file????

check out smiff.clara.net. i think smiff give's a pretty good description.

by modifying the INI (and other options), it allows you to make SOME games compatible, but nothing drastic like resident evil, conkers BFD, PD, ect ect

in otherwords its a confguration type file that the emulator accesses, to make a few decisions about roms, because the authors didnt want to test every rom... so they outsourced the work to other people who could test the roms and write comments + create cheats and other such funky stuff for the roms
