View Full Version : Gamepad problem (logitech rumblepad 2) - analog is full on or off only

I just picked up a logitech Rumblepad 2. When using the analog sticks with mario64 and goldeneye, they are either full on or full off. Like when I move the stick over it will be nothing...nothing....FULL. In mario, this means that mario can only stand still, or run, he can't walk. In Goldeneye, this makes aiming a problem... When I move the sensitivity slider in the nrage input controller config, it makes the movements slower, but it is still an all or nothing response. How can I make it so when I move the analog stick a little bit, mario will walk, then when I move the analog stick farther over, he will walk faster...and then farther over again and he will run...
I updated to Nrage controller plugin with project64, and fiddled around with it a bit, and I still can't fix this.
Can anyone help me out? I've searched around for a solution, but can't find anything.
Thanks!

Yeah, I'm having the exact same problem. I've seen a few other posts on this site and can't seem to find a solution for this problem. The controller I'm using is a Logitech Dual Action. When I configure it in Logitech's software, why analog sticks work fine, but in P64, it's either full or nothing. And I'm having the same problem that when I adjust the range down, it just makes my character crawl even when I'm holding the stick all the way to one direction. Also, I'm using the N-Rage 1.83 plugin. If anyone knows how to fix this, I would also appreciate it a lot.

If there's a digital/analog switch on the controller, press it...

There is one button, and it has to be turned on. I own of those controllers

Note that after you press the digital/analog button you may have to reconfigure the controller in PJ64.

I have the same problem with a Saitek P3000 :( Is there any way to fix it?)
EDIT: Weird enough... It seems to work now :P Nevermind

I got an old PSX controller and I notice sometimes the analogue button turns off due to forcefeed. Does anyone have the same problem with the PS2 or Logitech controller or is it becaues its an old controller? I also had the same problem with my old PS.
