I have Zelda OOT (on project64 1.6) and use a keyboard but can't get any of the up-down-left-right keys on the digital pad in the control configuration to work. I've tried the default settings and assigning the digital pad keys to other buttons, I've also tried N-rage's input plugin V2 but nothing.
I've searched for hours but haven't found anything about this, does somebody know why I can't use the digital pad buttons and how I can get them to work?
thanks.

The answer is simple: Ocarina of Time does not use the digital pad at all, so it won't work.

thanks, that explains it.
it really sucks though that you can't even walk straight forward in that game if you know what I mean, sometimes the character is facing you or facing sideways and you don't see where you are going. How do you people deal with this?

That how the game is. you can always put the camera behind Link's back when you press Z. Also, when you start walking/running, the camera will adjust itself eventually.

Thanks again, I guess I'll just have to get used to it.
