When playing Marvel Vs Capcom 1, I load the image and everything starts out normal but then Chankast only uses half of the screen so when playing the game is smushed on the top of the screen instead of using the full screen. I used all of the video settings but none of them worked. Any suggestions?:plain:

Have you tried changing the video cable type? For some games, using the wrong video cable type can cause this problem (It's somewhere in the graphics dropdown menu, I'm fairly certain). Hope that helps. Mouser X over and out.

Umm, I also have this problem (and tried the video type and every other fix). I note that this game is meant to work properly in the compatibility list, and having searched through that thread, I even found image of the game running in it's full glory. I guess it must be a compatibility issue.

Are you sure that you are not mistaking the screenshot you saw with Marvel Vs. Capcom 2? If you want to play Marvel Vs. Capcom (1) that badly, play the CPS-2 version.
