$59.99, the same price as an Xbox 360 game. Doesn't get any better then that. So long Dolphin!

This post is just retarded and should be removed. The only people who check this forum regularly most likely own a gamecube already anyways. Then again someone always feels the need to jump into an emulation forum and make stupid post like this every few months. It just wouldn't be an emulation forum without the stupid topics.

I concur, a lot of people download dolphin and expect to play gamecube games perfectly/full speed without having a gamecube

I agree. It's a much better idea to just buy a GC than to attempt to emulate it. Though, I downloaded Dolphin, not with the intention of emulation, but for testing. I download GC images, not to play them, but to find, and pull out, the audio data contained within them. I downloaded Dolphin so that, in case I couldn't find the sound files, I could load the game into Dolphin. If the game played sound, then I would know that it had streamed music in it, and I would look harder to find said music. If I get silence, then I can safely assume that the music is sequenced, and therefore useless to me. I'm guessing there's not many people here who get GC images just to have the music within said game... Still though, I think Dolphin looks great! And, even though it runs slowly, I think they're doing a great job so far. Still though, if you actually want to play games, then yes, get a GC. Mouser X over and out.

Well I think emulation is somewhat funner. Its out of the ordinary, and it gives me a fuzzy feeling inside knowing that Im not playing the game how its meant to be played. Its just not fun to always play games how they were meant to be played. Besides, anyone can agree with me that Banjo kazooie looks better when your playing it at 1280 x 1024 with 8x AA, and 8x AF, and no lag what so ever. I also like to see graphics glitches, and to see how games work.

No, I will not buy a GameCube. I will wait for Wii to play GameCube. :)

That's why I can't buy a gamecube. My religion makes me unable to buy something I'll replace in a few months.

I see a lot of people have lost the true meaning of emulation...

What don't you understand about FREE!!! These emulators not only allow us as common people to advance in our own technologies but, it provides us with a free and easy way to enjoy and test all games without having to buy them. I do so own a Gamecube and all other systems but, I never have enough money to pay for Gamefly then other things that I need more than games so if I need to test a game then I can simply use the emulator. If the game is really good then I buy it... What you're saying is right but, only to the people that agree with it, we all have our opinions and I also do believe that if you want to advertise something then there is a place to do it but, not here...

You are pathetic.
Emulators are not here because we should play for free. Why do games cost money? Because it takes money to make them! IF you don't have the money to buy a game, too bad. Sure, you can try a game on emulation and see if it worth saving up for, but don't ever get it in to your head that it's here so that you can all play for free.

You better start stacking up some games then ^^.
Hmm i wonder for how long they will sell gamecube games after the Wii's release.

Sure I'm pathetic, ethics were never of my concern. As contradictory as this may sound, in a sense I agree with you. However when you have to sacrifice things that you need for things that you want even when they are available for you to get at no cost then you will try to save yourself in this term. No matter who you are everyone wants the best of both worlds. So I do apologize for my arrogance towards this matter but, this is my take on it. Don't fret though, I happened to mention that if the game is very enjoyable then I will buy it.

It is the idea that you knowingly get the game for free just because you can that I fret over. The principle that, "Hey! I can get this game free if I use an emulator! Why but the game when I can get it for free?!" is what's wrong.

I understand your concern but, you and I both know that I'm not the only one who acts upon such thought. There are many others who shamelessly do so as well. I know people who are overly wealthy and could easily buy whichever game that they please and then some but, choose to use emulators anyway. I'm one of those people who has enough money to buy a game or two but would rather spend it for better causes.
I sincerely apologize but, that's how the world works and there is nothing much that you, I, or anyone else can do about it. Thanks for clearing it up though, if I hit the lottery then I'll gladly fill the hole in game developers' pockets.
Oh, and I understood the whole concept that the less money they get, the lazier they get and less inspired they get but, even if I gave up there are aLOT of other people who are doing such and would never give up such a pleasure.

The world is a sad place and we cannot change that. But we can change when someone wanders in and exclaims "FREE GAMES! YAY!"
I can't say for sure any of us have gotten all games legally. One or two games might just have been aquired... illegaly. Just don't overdo it.

OMFG why is this not locked yet? It's a bad topic, not to mention every post is even off the bad topic.

Why is it pointless? What is pointless is the "Why did I post this?" thread.
