Let me use my keyboard

Honestly all I'm trying to do is play Project64 (v1.6) with my keyboard and the game won't proceed because "the controller is not properly plugged in" or "no controller is detected in port #1" (depending on the game, which means the game is telling me this and not the emulator). I tried all of the different input plugins, I tried reinstalling Project64... any suggestions?

Go to Settings and select N' Rages controler plug-in. then go to Options->Configure Controler Plugin... check the box "plugged" right next to the clear controler button and underneath the controller 1 tab.

i don't understand why if you can't figure this out with jabo's it's going to be easier to figure out with n-rage's ..

other possibility is it could be a bad ROM.

Yeah... it's still not working. None of my roms work. I'll keep searching Project's support site.

OS: WindowsXP Home Edition | CPU: (Laptop) Graphics Card: no | Memory: 512 MB | Sound Card: Intel Integrated Audio | Other: It's a Dell Laptop from about 3 years ago
