It says that my Direct3D failed to intilize my HAL device (?) and to check if my 3D graphic card is configured to my Direct3D.

Does that mean I have to get a new graphics card? OR how do find out what graphics card I have and reconfigure?

1) Make sure you got the right DirectX version. Like Jabo's directx6 requires directx 6.0, etc... dx 8.1 is recommended, though.

2) Try to set your color-depth to 16-bit, this might help some users.
3) You graphic card isn't supported by DirectX!

How can I check what graphics card I have? And which cards do you recommend?
